Yes!!!: Go see family doc for official confirmation. Diabetes defined as fasting glucose &gt;125, random sugar &gt;200, or a1c &gt;6.5. This last test is used to evaluate sugar control over last 3 months. Lower is generally better unless you have frequent hypoglycemic (low sugar) episodes. Regular exercise & better nutrition (think low glycemic index) can help lose weight (if excessive) to lower sugars & controldm.

if i have diarreah after eating 2 meals does that mean i didn't get the nutrients or calories from those  foods?

NO: The Calories/Nutrients are absorbed by the stomach/Small Intestine....Diarrhea is usually a large intestinal issue!
