What does it mean to take a medicine "between meals"

That typically means a couple of hours after a meal and a couple of hours before the next meal. So, if you eat breakfast at 8am, you could take the medicine around 10am and not eat lunch until around noon. This way, the medicine is taken on a near-empty stomach. Good luck to you!
