a month ago i had numbness in hands arms face and head that caused ha next day weak carbonated drinks tasted like poison and still do i now have quivering lips frequently and numbness in nose and numbness in hands did i have a slight stroke?

Taste: Your most prominent symptom is change is taste. That can be from a stroke, but I would expect other signs of weakness too. Other possibilities would be electrolyte problems (Na, K, Mg, Ca), tobacco abuse, Zinc deficiency, dental infection, drugs like ace inhibitor or PPI.

Probable stress: Your symptoms are quite suggestive of hyperventilation. Very common and at your age most likely related to anxiety/stress. Nevertheless other, potentially more serious conditions (e.g. Asthma) can also present this way, therefore you should seek formal medical attention.

back in august, my husband blacked out and fell injuring his head & neck.  a month later he has developed l'hermitte's sign which is causing excruciating electrical shocking and numbness in hands. will this ever go away since it's not due to ms?

Cervical myelopathy: Your husband needs to see his doctor and get a cervical MRI.  These symptoms are worrisome for an injury to the spinal cord in the neck.  With proper treatment, the symptoms CAN improve.  That improvement is not guaranteed.

Time: If you are getting better, give it time. Stay hydrated. You may wish to take an electrolyte drink like Gatorade. If the symptoms do not resolve fully in a day or two, it would be prudent to see your doctor.

Impending Stroke!: Please seek help immediately. The loss of vision in the eye "amauroses fugax" is significant of a decrease blood flow to the vessel serving that eye, and usually occurs prior to a stroke. With the numbness and confusion already occuring, you need to seek help immediately.

Other explanations: It would be unlikely that a few nite-time cocktails could cause a peripheral neuropathy due to alcohol and, if so, would affect feet and distal legs first.  More likely you have problems with carpal tunnel nerve compression, but other nerves in arm and neck should be considered. Please seek help with your doctor.
