Ileus: There are many reasons for vomiting bile. Some of them more serious and might be a sign of small intestine obstruction. In your situation you developed a temporary cessation of small bowel movents. It should recover soon. Caution on eating within the next few hours. Also pay attention to changing or new signs .

Normal: After using colon cleanse, all of the stool is out of you and the only thing left is the green bile that is constantly made by the liver.

Normal: The yellow is just some normal bile staining.  That is good.  Just keep drinking and it should become clear and you will be well prepared for your colonoscopy!

Stool studies: It seems like a structural cause was ruled out, in the test limits, of course. I wonder if you had stool studies-cultures, parasites, etc. Among others, functional conditions will have to be questioned, too. Either way, talk to your gastroenterologist.

Has he had a CT Scan: He sould see his doctor to get a CAT scan if he has not yet had one done.

: If liver function blood tests were normal, with a normal mrcp there's a good chance that the dilated bile ducts are insignificant. Erosive gastritis would not cause large amounts of mucus in stools, but inflammatory bowel disease can. Was there any sign of Crohn's disease in your studies as associated abdominal pain is strongly suggestive of inflammatory bowel disease. Was the ileum seen clearly?

i had a colonoscopy 2 days ago, after  a 2 day cleanse. i'm in a lot of pain in my upper abdomen. could my colon be bruised?

It's possible, but..: Most often, the colonoscopy is an uneventful procedure, but on occasion, depending on your body position while getting the scope and the amount of "snaking" of the scope that need to be done, you may have some abd discomfort afterwards.  Be sure to call the Dr. who performed the procedure and let them know as they would want to know any difficulties  you are experiencing. best wishes.
