Pregnancy test: You can check a home pregnancy test. If it is positive and you are bleeding with pain then urgent evaluation is needed. If it is negative then this is not a miscarriage. You can see a gynecologist to evaluate you irregular period.

Light periods: A miscarriage over one year ago would not cause a permanent change in the menstrual cycles. If you are not satisfied with your level of menstrual cycle control consider starting birth control. This can often help with menstrual symptoms such as bloating.

Check a test: You can check a pregnancy test at home and in minutes you will have your answer. It seems very unlikely since you had a normal period one week ago and since your tubes are tied. Simply take a test and you will know. If negative and irregular menstrual cycles continue then schedule a visit with an obgyn.

- you were pregnant and had a very early miscarriage 
- you had an ovarian cyst: that can cause irregular periods and pain
- you ovulated later the usual this months so your period came late.

Infections ;  hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do  a home pregnancy test .  There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.
