hey! i have a bumpy mole (very bummpy and has pieces hanging off) and im getting in removed in about a month. please tell me if it will hurt ?

Pain removing mole: Mole removals are done under local anesthesia, so the most you will feel is the needle stick and a slight burning of the anesthetic.  After the procedure, the area may feel a little sore but should not be very painful.  If severe pain does develop, it may mean an infection or bleeding inside the skin, but that is very rare.  Follow the wound care instructions carefully.  It should be fine.

hi today my dog cut a mole on the front of my neck. beeling and pretty much hanging. can i cut it off at home ?

No: The likelihood of you getting an infection goes up by the day, and if you cut it off without medical supervision, you are likely going to make matters worse. Keep it clean, apply some topical antibiotic until you get to see your doctor

Please see your doc: To say that cutting the mole yourself was not a good idea cannot be understated.  Please see your primary doctor asap. They may have the tools to complete the removal of mole and make sure there is no immediately concerning issues with the area. The cut mole may need to be sent to a pathologist for examination.

i had a mole under my armpit area, it turned black, it dried and fell off. the area didn't bleed at all.should i worry about? it was a hanging mole

I : I agree.  It sounds like an infarcted skin tag that fell off.  If it or any pigment returns, i would see a dermatologist.  I hope that helps.

i have a mole on my neck that got almost ripped off would it be okay to go ahead and rip it off or will it it is very tender since its barely hanging?

Either is fine.: If it is barely hanging on my preference would be to rip it off. This is because the blood supply to the thing may be compromised enough that it is going to fall off anyway... Note to self: skin is very tough and yanking it may cause a great deal more stretching than you think..... A sharp blade carefully wielded will go a long way to fixing this.

Hanging mole?: It is difficult to speculate as to what the lesion you are describing could be, without examining you and getting further details about it. I recommend you see a local dermatologist for evaluation.

i have a mole on my back. last 6 months it has grown bigger, raised and is very itchy, and bleeds. two different colours also. today it is half hanging off and really bleeding. is it possibly cancerous? should i get it checked by a dermatologist?

: Yes to all, it still can be benign, but as a rule of thumb all skin lesions that are changing rapidly have to be evaluated promptly. Best by your doc or dermatologist if already established with one.

Don't know: We really don't don't know why people have a few or many moles. Genetics must play a very important role. Heavy sunexposure induces some in light-skin-colored people..

Sun Exposure: In genetically predisposed individuals, sun exposure will increase the number and size of moles.  Air pollution can cause other problems including exacerbation of asthma.
