It is difficult to have a false positive for syphilis so i would make sure that you are getting the right information and that a follow up test is scheduled.  Latent syphilis can have deadly consequences so making sure you are un-infected is paramount.

You may be interested to know that syphilis can be contracted by skin to skin, saliva and blood and semen.

No : Lh predictor kit determines the concentration of lh in the urine which is indicative of ovulation. I do have to ask why are you doing the tests? For pregnancy? At age 45 you should seek fertility care immediately as the chances of pregnancy are very low at this age.
