TMD ?: 26 y female has "tingly crawling sensation" around temple; apparently one-sided. Paresthesias caused by chronic muscle spasm might be etiologic. Chronic muscle spasm is a signature symptom of Temporomandibular Joint disorder, wherein the ipsilateral Masseter muscle is chronically spastic. See comments:

Abnormal sensation: As this sensation is in the head first rule out you do  not have pediculosis, if negative, abnormal sensation usually results from nerve irritation. Have it checked out by a Neurologist.

: If those symptoms have just occurred less than 24 hours, you should watch for the skin eruption in those areas if you did not have chicken pox vaccines in your childhood because those symptoms could be the prodrome for shingles (herpes zoster outbreak). As soon as rashes appear, you have to see a doctor right away for treatment.

Could be dryness: A crawling sensation, as in feeling like something is in the eye?  This can be from dryness or allergies.  You can try artificial tears over the counter or an allergy eye drop like zaditor (ketotifen).  Stay away from visine and clear-eyes.
