Several causes: By paste do you mean soft , is normal.

If you mean white soft bm's you may have liver problems or a malabsorption problem, for which a GI doc will help.

today i took a bowel movement and it looked like tooth paste. also, i noticed about four to five drops of blood on it. what could it mean?

Suggest...: If your bm looks like toothpaste then it must be thin and white?  If you had oral contrast for an x-ray recently that might explain the white color.  Blood in the stool is clearly not normal either.  I would suggest you see your doctor with these symptoms to find an explanation.  Good luck!

last couple days have had a mucus clear/ brown color after a soild bowel movement. what can cause this and what should i do? who should i go see?

Change in bowels: Just watch for a bit. Could start some Probiotics in the meantime. If there is blood, abdominal pain, fever, etc them you need to see a doc to see if it is colitis, etc. You need to see a gastroenterologist as a specialist.

Depends what you eat: I suspect this is due to something you ate. Without any other symptoms it does not seem to be a major issue. If you see persistent change sometimes this can be due to intestinal problems. You can discuss with your physician

can your period mess with your bowel movements, in terms of making you have more? and would it be normal for them to cause your stool to be a different color than nornal? like, dark green instead of brown?

: Endometriosis can cause abdominal cramping with periods, due to small amounts of bleeding inside the abdomen.  Endometriosis can also invade the large colon (bowel), with stimulation of contractions of the colon which speeds transit of waste products, resulting in color change and more frequency.  Ask your gyn about bcp's, which will reduce these symptoms.

Most likely: secondary to your viral illness. no concern  keep up hydration and dietary fiber I am sure it will be ok..   A little vegemite might help too.
