Went to the bathroom and the last 2 inches was pale coloured with brown specks. rest of bowel movement was normal. what causes this ?

Depends what you eat: I suspect this is due to something you ate. Without any other symptoms it does not seem to be a major issue. If you see persistent change sometimes this can be due to intestinal problems. You can discuss with your physician
