i just found out i have a large air bubble in my lung. is this serious, what can i expect if it busts? does it resolve it self? i'm scared not knowing

Air bubble: If you mean bullae , if it ruptures you could have something called a pneumothorax. But most of the time it doesn't happen. If pneumothorax happening recurrently, it has to be removed surgically.

my left side lung feels like it has air in it. there's lots of pressure and it makes it uncomfortable for me. i can still inhale and exhale with no pain. i just feel like there's a big air bubble under my left breast?

Vague symptoms: Your symptoms are too vague. An experienced pcp can take more detailed history and perform focused exam to determine the nature of your symptoms.

Reflux?: Do you eat late suppers, eat a lot of fatty meals? Are you tasting acid or bile at the back of your throat? Are you drinking more than a little alcohol, smoking?  These are some of the questions that your doctor may ask to clarify the symptoms that you have described.  Some healthy lifestyle choices might make a difference even before you get to see your doctor.

is it normal, when you try to expel all the air from your lungs, to hear a wheezing/bubbling sound in your throat (only when almost all the air is gone and your throat and chest are tight)?

: If you very forcibly expel air from your lungs you may induce a brief spasm of the vocal cords which causes a wheeze. I wouldn't consider this unusual. However frequent wheezing on  inspiration or expiration combined with frequent coughing i&amp; shortness of breath is consistent with bronchospasm of an asthmatic type &amp; warrants treatment.Listening with a stethoscope can tell  where the wheeze is.

would lung cancer have to invade spine to cause pain in upper back? present for 1yr. mri of throastic ok. my chest feels bubbly/sm cough recently.

Not necessarily: Tumor invasion into ribs or chest wall or tumor irritating the lung lining (pleura) can cause pain in the back or shoulder blade region.

Excessive gas: Try zantac (ranitidine) or other otc meds for excessive stomach gas and make appointment to get checked and treated properly by your pcp.

Air bubble in chest : Pneumomediastinum or air in the chest can come from lungs, trachea or esophagus. It can happen from deep sniffing, drug abuse, and heavy exertion. I see a number of teenager with lot of air in the chest from unknown cause. Air can also come from root canal. Air bubbles can also mean infection. It may be sign of grave disease process or it may be totally benign requiring simple observation.

Chest discomfort: Any chest discomfort that occurs during stress or physical exertion should be investigated as it could be reflective of cardiac disease. Your discomfort may simply be due to recent surgery which caused temporary muscular or nerve tissue injury/irritation. If symptoms recur, consult your physician for evaluation.

Bronchospasm: Of course you do. Your body does not want your smoke or fire or the tar and other chemicals from smoking. It causes your lungs to constrict and to react and to get swollen and inflamed.  I am happy to hear that you are finally listening to your body complain to you.
