Tennis elbow: Weight-lifting is a common cause of the extensor tendinitis commonly called tennis elbow. A snug band worn just below the elbow can alleviate some pain.

can lifting weights cause lymph nodes to swell? i have developed several swollen lymph nodes, 1 in either arm, and 2 small ones on my neck. lifting weights is the only thing different i'm doing. i've had other swollen lymph nodes for months/years?

Many possibilities: Besides lyme, ticks can transmit many other infections including babesia, bartonella, ehrlichina, rickettsia and other types of borrelia. The tick testing negative for lyme does not rule out other infections. But your symptoms could be unrelated to the bite too! see a doc knowledgeable in tick-borne illness. Consider seeing a doc for general evaluation too, ideally a holistic doc.

Many possibilities: There are many types and causes of skin rashes.  Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions,  and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin.  Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.

began suffering from hives, and can a new watchband cause this, even though the rashes are not on the watch arm, but the legs and trunk?

Watchband reactions: Reactions to watchbands tend to be related to the presence of nickel in the band.  Nickel is a metal that some people have a reaction to (irritant contact dermatitis) when there is prolonged contact.  The reaction takes place at the site of contact, and is usually a red rash sometimes with cracked skin, rather than hives.

72 years old lady had left shoulder pain and red spots (sort of rashes) on left arm as well. things are now sort of back to normal after 3 days what possibly could have caused it?

: Herpes zoster ( shingles) comes to mind but the chickenpox type eruption takes more time to resolve. If there are residual eruptions visible, a physician could make the diagnosis and recommend antiviral medication if deemed advisable.

i'm currently on the accutane, and one day i woke up with rashes on my face and both arms. did accutane cause rashes? if yes, how do i get rid of it?

It is a side effect: Your rash can be caused by acutane. It is important that you avoid irritants such as sun during this time and stay moisturized. You should also show your rash to your current prescribing doctor.

i have been getting petechial rashes on my ribs and legs. i also have petechiae on my arms, scattered however. i've heard causes are bad, but i would like your opinion.

Evaluation: Petechiae can be caused by benign causes as well as serious causes.  Simple things such as straining, lifting, crying etc. can result in the breakage of small capillaries resulting in Petechiae .  Medications and herbal supplements can be a cause.  Review the medications and supplements you at taking, if you can not find a reason seek the help of your physician.

past three days been extremely itchy all over body, primarily arms and legs. no rashes, etc. no new changes at all. no allergies. what can be cause?

Lots of things: Many potential causes, and i'm sure i'll overlook some. Could be a very early infestation with scabies, exposure to some irritant, seasonal allergies, dry skin, or pregnancy. It could be something more serious like liver dysfunction. I'd see my gp for an exam.

i had strep infection that caused rhd last year.my esr and aso is now ok but rashes and hives still apppears on my legs, arms and hands... pls help.

See allergist: The hives are not related to your Rheumatic fever.  Consult an allergist to find out the reason.  Wow, I have not seen a case of rheumatic heart disease since my internship year decades ago.
