Many causes: Chest pain can be caused by a condition in the heart , lung , pleural , chest wall , stomach condition ( acid reflux , hiatal hernia ) . The nature of the pain should be studied in the context of underlying medical condition , age , precipitating and relieving factors and many more . At your age , the cause of pain is most likely musculoskeletal . However , i would advise you to consult with your pcp.

Chest Pain: Chest pain appears in many forms, ranging from a sharp stab to a dull ache. Sometimes chest pain feels crushing or burning. In certain cases, the pain travels up the neck, into the jaw, and then radiates to the back or down one or both arms.

Many different problems can cause chest pain. Because chest pain can indicate a serious problem, it's important to seek immediate medical help.

i get this pain by my heart,its like a small pinch that comes and goes at times.

about 2 cm from my chest. should i be concerned, what could this be? i never had this pain before, it started about last 5 months?

Often not heart: At your age this is often not heart related. The entrance to your stomach is physically located to the left of center just behind the heart. In that location stomach acid can backwash occasionally triggering "heartburn". This can have a gnawing or stabbing quality among other symptoms. Avoidance of caffeine/nicotine or laying down after meals can often reduce the process.

Go to ER: You should get evaluated immediately, if you are having numbness in the arms particularly with chest pain this could be related to angina.  Get evaluated to assess whether your symptoms are related to angina this should be ruled out first before other things can be considered.

: Could be : Cherry angiomas are tiny, harmless benign tumors, containing capillaries that have enlarged or proliferated. They occur in most people over 30 and increase in size and number as you age. There is no connection to cancer. They can be treated by the dermatologist with laser ablation or cautery.

Exam: I suggest a physical examination and an EKG: although this does not sound like a heart issue, you must always get it checked- this sounds more like muscle spasm and irritation in your chest; however, still worth checking.

yes: Relatively rarely, a lower cervical radiculopathy can present with chest pain. Obviously, one would want to do a thorough workup of the much more common and worrisome cardiopulmonary causes of chest pain first. I do have a few patients that have had multiple cardiac workups that were negative and only got relief after neck surgery.

male and have a bone in my chest that sticks out a little. sometimes i get chest pain from it. can this cause damage?

Location and duratio: Where is it located at ? How long was it there ? Are we referring to the rib bones or the one in the center (sternum)? Is there additional growth or is the whole bone is puckering ?  I am not clear with the description  and difficult to make remark . However , some harmless changes are common and should not be of any concern . I suggest your doc have a look and will settle the issue for you.

Paresthesia: This sensation is caused by a nerve being irritated somewhere along it's course.  Sometimes occurs with direct trauma or rubbing or potentially an infection such as early shingles.  Hard to say exactly what.  If you develop and further symptoms or these symptoms expand, I would see your doc for a good exam.

i have had a cold for a little over a week now. i have been coughing and i have been having slight chest pain. what could this be caused from?

Musculoskeletal...: The chest discomfort is likely musculoskeletal from the coughing. It could be muscle strain, cartilage inflammation and even rib fracture. The cough may be due to bronchospasm, especially if the cough increases as the cold symptoms are improving. See your doctor for diagnosis and treatment. If the chest pain is constant, go to the er to r/o cardiac pain.
