what can i treat pimples on my legs when they get infected?

Phisoderm: Once called surgical soap.  Apply over affected areas, let dry then rinse off.   Do not shave your legs with multiblade razors.  Although they make your legs feel extra smooth and sexy, the hair is pulled and cut, retracts below the skin surface, the cut hair can carryl bacteria past the immune barrier that is skins normal function. Then the gland at the base of the hair gets infected--> boil!

See a DR: You may benefit from a drainage of an abscess. Do not use Benadryl (diphenhydramine) except as a sleeping pill.

You mat have relieve: An abscess, clean with soap and water 2x per day.  There may b more underneath, if fever, increasing redness or pain, go in, may need antibiotics.  Gd luck.

Need diagnosis first: before cause and treatment can be given.  If you have dry skin, it is not uncommon to get plugged hair follicles called keratosis pili that can sometimes get inflamed, and is treated with moisturizers.  If you have infection/folliculitis, this would be Rx with antibiotics.  Or this may be some other type of rash.  An exam by your doctor is a starting point.

Usually foliculitis: Scattered lesions that produce pus on the skin are usually related to infection with bacteria. Pain can be a sign of deeper infection.  You should have them examined, because if deep enough then rapid spread can begin to occur.

Get it checked: Difficult what is causing your symptoms without looking at the lesion... could be secondary to trauma, simple infection or others.

ACNE, BLACK MARKS: For acne, Retin-A dry the pimples and exfoliates the scars. For the black marks, try using eldoquin 4percent 2x/ day.
