Needs re-evaluation: Not possible to diagnose without at least a picture, you need to see your doctor again who would refer you to a dermatologist. Please hold the steroid cream for now, it could be a fungal rash or something else, good luck

: That is typical of Stress Hives. You need to use over the counter antihistamines such as claritin or zyrtec or benadryl.

In addition to psoriasis , the generalized rash could be due to many causes- underlying medical condition, allergic reaction to meds/ foods, autoimmune condition , toxic epidermal necrolysis etc let the specialist make an accurate diagnosis and proper treatment! hope she gets better!

Yes: It is very likely that your rash is a new allergic reaction to Bactrim, (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) which would mean you are now allergic to whole class of Sulfa drugs. On the other hand, it is always possible that the rash is due to something else, such as a virus. Consider taking a picture of your rash to show your doctor, but call doctor now. If itchy and no fever, antihistamine (Benadryl) may help.

Blotchy rash?: Could it be a reaction to one of the medications you were given for your bronchitis?  We’re you given an antibiotic?  This should be re-evaluated by your prescribing doctor, but that would be my first thought.
