The risk of cesarean section, high blood pressure and gestational diabetes goes up also.  However the most likely outcome is a heatlhy baby!

Rarely infections like listeria which comes from spoiled food can cause a miscarriage.  This is very rare however.

That depends...: I have seen CF patients carry pregnancy to full term. The risk is the same as for anyone with impaired lung function and/or malnutrition (very common problems in CF patients). You should discuss pregnancy with your CF provider, usually a lung doctor, and maybe also a specialist in high risk ob. They  can discuss the the risks of pregnancy based on your specific health status. Good luck.
