What is your intent?: Majority do not, but depends why you are taking it. If just want protein, most are "just" protein. If nutritional or stacking or alertness seeking, then unfortunately need to check labels. May get symptoms from other stimulating nutritionals as well, though, so start low(-dose) and see how you tolerate them.

No: Mitral valve prolapse with palpitations can be bothersome and cause anxiety but is generally not dangerous (unless the condition progresses to significant mitral valve regurgitation, which seldom happens).

Mitral valve prolaps: Mitral valve prolapse (aka primary form of myxomatous degeneration of the mitral valve aka floppy mitral valve syndrome) is a valvular heart disease characterized by the displacement of an abnormally thickened mitral valve leaflet into the left atrium during systole. Eventually it could lead to worsening of mitral regurgitation, heart failure, cardioac arrythmias and death.

: Probably no risk at all. Your higher heart rate when stressed probably has nothing to do with your MV prolapse. Everybody's heart rate rises with stress.  The only health risk from MV prolapse comes if there is a valve leak (called mitral regurgitation) that becomes severe, in which case you are at risk for heart failure. But most people with MVP never have this problem. Discuss w/ cardiologist.

Consult your cardio: long-term Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) use can be associated with heart disease and complications.  If you are taking Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine), have a prescription for metoprolol, have known mitral valve prolapse and have not slept in 5 days  your medications may need to be adjusted. I suggest to see a  physician

Depends: Most of the time, it is a minor problem. It can result in significant leakage of the valve, chest pain, palpitations, valve infection, and heart rhythm disturbances. So it really depends on the severity of the problem. Fortunately, most cases are relatively benign. We used to routinely give antibiotics prior to dental and other procedures, but that is no longer recommended.
