No, No, yes: A hysteroscopy is a procedure where a camera is advanced into the uterus.  It is usually performed in the setting of abnormal bleeding and also in infertility workups.  It can be used to detect uterine cancer, but not cervical or ovarian.

Scar tissue: Surgery results in post-operative healing--which generally gives you scarring. The scarring causes unusual pressure or pulling on the organs that remain, which can pull the nerves -- resulting in pain. Different positions may also result in more pain than others. Perhaps you can try something else that would be more comfortable.

dominant right adnexal cyst presumably ovarian measuring 4.3 cm. i had a hysterectomy including tubes removed 12 years ago due to cervical cancer. i have never noticed when i ovulate but about 3 weeks ago i started to feel a lot of pain in the abdome?

Adnexal mass post CA: Any adnexal mass post reproductive cancer bears investigation by a GYN MD. Although the tubes and uterus are gone ovarian issues must be assessed by Laparoscopy and biopsy if needed. Blood testing for ovarian cancer is often notably inaccurate as elevated levels of CA 125 can also occur in Endometriosis.
