: No. Teeth nor TMJ affect the thyroid gland. You may have an enlarged lymph gland.

One Factor: Although I am a dentist, I am we'll versed in basic medicine. One factor that could cause atrial fibrillation is a hyper-active thyroid. I would suggest at your age a visit to the cardiologist or an internist to determine the cause and best treatment options for you.

Enlarged gland: If on the neck it is not a salivary gland.  It's most probably a lymph gland.  Should be seen immediately to discover cause and appropriate cure.  If a lymph gland, yes, lymphoma is a possibility.  See your GP or an ENT for differential diagnosis.

Hypothyroidism: When the thyroid makes too little hormone (t4 and t3), the pituitary makes more TSH to try to compensate.  So an elevated TSH is indicative of a thyroid that has failed or is failing, and you may need to take levothyroxine.  See your doctor.

Yes: Anybody can have nodes. Your physician wants to biopsy them because hashimoto's puts you at extra risk for malignant lymphoma, and even if the nodes aren't that worrisome, he wants to cover himself and you.

Possible, but: Thyroid enlargement usually doesn't cause pain, unless there is  acute thyroid inflammation. Have you doctor take a look at you.

thyroid: Altered thyroid function may cause macroglossia. This is generally effects the entire tongue. For one sided swelling - you should get it checked with a complete exam, and workup.
