if i only drink milk and soda, is it possible to get kidney stones?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily: Milk contains calcium, a component of stones. Dehydration is more of a factor in stone production. Unless one has a specific metabolic abnormality, milk ingestion doesn't necessarily cause stones.

Sodas have not been definitively linked to stone production. Caffeine within sodas can dehydrate, however. Dehydration, as mentioned above,  is more of a factor in stone production.

Diagnosis first.: Before determining how to deal with your nutritional intake it is important to attempt to understand why the bone density is low.  Family history of low bone density, various medications, menstrual history and body weight are some of the factors that should be evaluated with your physician.

Possibly: Gerd (reflux of stomach acid) can cause heartburn, nausea...

GERD: Milk slows down gastric emptying which can cause acid reflux and in severe cases vomiting.
Soda can also cause acid reflux by relaxing the lower esophageal sphincter. When the sphincter relaxes, acid and food can come back up.

: If your testosterone is normal with a single functional testicle you are fine, Some young people does have low testosterone level after unilateral orchiectomy.
The things you mention do not affect testosterone level by my knowledge. However, gaining weight due to poor activity and lack of exercise may have a negative impact with testosterone production.

Green tea capsules: contain the main ingredient in green tea called EGCG.  You will get a higher dose w/caps than drinking it, maybe equal 5-8 cups.  Also, you won't need to go to the bathroom so often.  Peace and good health.  Milk negates the benefits of tea.

Yes they would: Gain weight if they drink any sort of full cream milk, better if skimmed or half skimmed, to benefit from the vitamins and minerals provided without the hazards of fat , wish you wellness
