Cough/ chest pain: Chronic cough has to be investigated. It may be one of several things, bronchitis, pleurisy, acid reflux, non specific lung conditions etc. Chest pain may be a result of muscle soreness due to persistent cough.

ACUTE BRONCHITIS: Your symptoms are consistent with acute bronchitis . You need to be reevaluated  labs and CXR done to rule out pneumonia. You will probably need a  course of antibiotics and a nebulizer to give deeper penetration for medication Please get evaluated promptly! If wheezing is  progressive a course of steroids may be tried

Epigastric pain: The pain described here sound like epigastric pain.
We can say possibilities but need more detailed information and exam /testings may be necessary get to the bottom of it. The possibilities are Peptic ulcer, severe gastritis, esophagitis or esophageal ulcer, costochondritis, pleuritis, pericarditis, cholecystitis etc

May be anxiety: You may be hyperventillating from anxiety which can cause chest pain. Taking deep breaths relaxes you and stops the pain. However any chest pain should be examined by a doctor.

i coughed and i started hiccuping. however, i noticed that the hiccups were very chesty and violent i guess. it sort of hurt my chest when i hiccupped. i was able to stop it, but why would my chest hurt during a hiccup?

Hiccups: Are the result of sudden and strong contractions of the diaphragm and intercostal muscle. Some of them may strain the intercostal muscles and as such cause pain.
