CabbageJuiceIsAGas!!: OMG,I wouldn't want to be in the same room with someone who's been drinking cabbage juice every day. That's a cure best left for hermits or sadists.But,sure,anything will work with some people all of the time and all of the people some of the time but not all the people all the time(I think Lincoln said that).So it is with cabbage juice.Or Leek juice,or honey and vinegar.Try it. If it works,bravo!

gradually lowered hydroxyzine intake over 2 months. finally stopped 4 days ago. had bad stomach aches accompanying bms since. from withdrawal?

Accepted Answer

Not expected: Hydroxyzine when used as an antihistamine or even a sleeping aid does not require tapering.  However if you were using it to control anxiety, then a tapering may be required. In large doses, it may slow down your bm and thus it may be the issue for you. Nonetheless your symptoms are unusual and the stomach symptoms may just be coincidental. See doctor if symptoms go beyond a few days or worsen .

surbex-z should be taken with food or empty stomach.. if to use with empty stomach then any side effects?? and right amount of water intake with it?

Accepted Answer

Surbex_z: This multivitamin also contains zinc and can be taken with or without food. An 8 ounce glass of water taken with it is sufficient. Some people experience mild nausea, mild flushing or heartburn if they take multivitamins on an empty stomach. This is a minor side effect. The ingredients are well absorbed.

i had the sleeve in 2019.. have started gaining weight back...seems im so hungry all the time... is there an appetite suppressant i can take?... and i have started trying to do better with intake and food choices will my stomach shrink back?

: The "gastric sleeve" may slip, or persistent increase in food volume may override the intended effect of the sleeve procedure, and weight gain will increase according to dietary intake quality.  Consult the physician who performed the procedure, who may order a gastric swallow to assess stomach volume and the state of the performed sleeve procedure.

Reflux: You may have gastroesophageal reflux disease. Have you noticed it gets worse after eating especially spicy foods or drinking coffee? What about laying down after eating. You can take over the counter medications for reflux. Other possible causes depends on where the pain is and if it often feels different from a burning sensation moving up your chest.

what to do if i have ulcers in the mouth due to intake of antibiotics. any quick remedy?

From antibiotics?: While possible, it's probably not the antibiotics that are causing the ulcers. If you were prescribed antibiotics by a health care provider, you need to discuss this with him\her right away. If you took the antibiotics on your own, then see a dentist or physician based upon your other symptoms.

i have taken spicy food and my stomach is having pain in lower abdomen for 1 week, immediately after intake food say 15 minutes i have to go to toilet for defecation. now i can't even able to handle light spicy foods.please suggest a remedy?

: You don't mention whether you have very loose BMs. If you do, get a stool culture checked for bacterial pathogens &amp; parasites. If culture is negative, you may have a viral intestinal infection which usually resolves in A week or so. At this time drink adequate fluids,eat a soft bland diet and your physician may be willing to order an antispasmodic medication like dicyclomine to take before meals.

i cant get sugar down below 200 even with an extra dose of metformin and no carb intake. have major stomach pain, insomnia and diarhea. what to do?

See doctor : Diabetes type 2 is always progressive. Your job w our suggestions is to slow the progress. All patients if they live long enough (most pts will live long enough) will need Insulin (insulin is your friend). Now there a few other options before going to insulin, so go see doctor in order to get your fasting sugar b/w 100-120.  It can be done no question about it.

my 5 months old son develooed rash on his stomach, chest, back and now slightly on the face. he has reduced his formula intake and has been on exclusively formula feeding since birth. i noticed loose poop lately on certain days?

Call Ped NOW: Sounds viral , with reduced intake concern for dehydration, call your pedicatrician  now or if not available go to Urgent care or ER may need IV fluids

i started running empty stomach and controlling calorie intake and eating healthy from 9-10 days for weight loss than what cause my my ot-pt 46 and 97 high feeling upset digestion from last two days?

: First, before starting an exercise /diet program you should see your General Physician for a complete Physical. If your "healthy" diet does not meet minimum daily requirements supplements may be necessary. In addition to your current exercise/diet program being unbalanced, you may also have a simple stomach virus.
