Hygiene problem?: Is your bed clean? Are the sheets washed regularly? How old is your mattress? Have you looked for insects? You could also have an allergy to dust mite which like to live in mattress, pillows, blankets, especially if older/not cleaned recently.

when i wake up or lay on the side of my face i get welts on the side i am not sleeping on. could this be from grinding? noticed after wisdom surgery.

Urticaria: It sounds like you're having a systemic allergic reaction. (hives, urticaria). If you've taken a new med, it is suspect. An insect bite can cause this. Beyond those 2, there is a long list of suspects that can take a long time to isolate. You will need professional help. There are treatments that will help you to feel better meanwhile. Good luck!

how to relieve bug bite on three yr old. tried hydrocortisone, cool cloth, tylenol (acetaminophen). son can't sleep because of it. gets welts from bug bites.

Antihistamines: in addition to what you have done, is it a mosquito bite or a bedbug, or was it a bee or ant sting, if getting this exaggerated reaction every time, or has other symptoms such shortness of breath or  hives all over, better see an allergist, check aaaai.org or acaai.org for an allergist in your area

Sleep: Usually sleeping on your arm may cause muscle cramp or some redness but unless if you have a bleeding disorder or such it should not cause a bruise per se.
If you are getting bruises you should get a blood work, physical exam and sleep study.

: Most of these that are not knocked out with the fall,have no other symptoms  can be monitored at home.They can be allowed to sleep or nap on their regular schedule, but check with a flashlight while they rest.A single spit up or headache is common.If there is any change in personality, repeated vomiting, etc. take her in at once. If the  bruising worries you go in.

Hypersomnia: Not sure how old you are, but its possible you may have a rare syndrome called klein levin syndrome where you sleep, drink, eat a lot and present with bipolar like symptom, this is an assumption although sounds unlikely in  your presentation. I would rule out medical causes of low platelets, get cbcd, cmp, ua, thyroid panel etc, r/u sleep study, Depakote induced low platelets and siadh.

my baby is 2 weeks old and my phone fell on her while she way laying down. she cried for a few minutes then went back to sleep as usual. she doesnt have a bruise. shes acting normal. is there anything that i need to do ?

: Your best simple gauge of the importance of the event is your babies daily activities. If they are the same, hour to hour, the encounter did not damage her. If your mommy sense it tingling and you are loosing sleep, have her seen. You know your baby better than anyone. If all things are fine, let  it pass.
