OMT terms: Many osteopaths will use lay terms to describe "somatic dysfunctions" which are essentially areas that have asymmetry and pain. Wear and tear= degenerative ie arthritis
"higher and off to one side"= asymmetry.

Yes: Yes probably you have scoliosis.Special x-ray need  to be taken and depending upon result proper treatment established.

No evidence: Of chiari means that there is no chiari malformation.   Otherwise, “some prominence” and “mild wear and tear” are very nonspecific and don’t mean much of anything.

Shoulder bag: If the bag is heavy it may affect your spine by causing a compensatory muscle spasm with the opposite side muscles having to work harder to stabilize your spine. Try lightening the load and/or alternating the side you carry your bag.

which muscle is located to the left of your spine, in the middle of the back? how do you differentiate between a pull or tear? laying down hurts!

Several: There are several muscles in that area that form approximately three layers.  The most superficial group include the trapezius and the latissimus; the next level deeper has the muscles that primarily extend the spine, and then the deepest level contains the rotators of the spine among others.  In general, a "pulled" muscle will get better more quickly than a tear.

Annular tear: Annulus is fibrous ring of tissue surrounding a disc's jelly-like nucleus. Degeneration can cause tears extending from the pulp outward to the edge & let pulp material extrude (& possibly put pressure on nerves/spinal cord). Discuss the MRI findings with your doc/orthopod/neurologist to determine what course of tx is needed to give you relief.

do you have to get any injection for an mri on the spine and can you just wear normal clothes?

Contrast depends: When infection, inflammation, arthritis  or tumor are considerations, usually inject intravenous contrast gadolinium. Many times uncontrasted for disk and nerve root problems.Patient changes into gown for test.No metals on patient, degrade image,damage MR.Have to inform technologist of any internal metal or foreign bodies Charge cards in pockets would be demagnetized, so wallet kept out of room.

after wearing shape up tennis shoes stomach back and spine  hurt what is a good shoe to wear thanks?

It takes time: To get used to. So, i would stay away from it till all your discomfort goes away. Then, walk maybe an hour a day with them till you get used to it. If not junk them.
