Can't really get RID: Of scars, but you can reduce their noticability.  Use a cream called mederma to reduce the appearance of scars.

Likely from infancy: Probably for correction of congenital problem such as omphalocele, gastroschisis or exstrophy. I which case a pediatric surgeon, pediatric urologist or plastic surgeon could book this as a revision of original problem ; would be covered by medical insurance. Not sure about nhs in uk. A faux belly button could be made at same time. Enquire at great ormond st. Children's hospital in london.Good luck.

I : I am not sure if you are asking about psychological preparation or physical preparation in anticipation of surgery. In the former, probably the most powerful influence will be the child's desire for surgery. If they are self conscious of the lip and constantly looking in the mirror then they may be eager for surgery and will require little mental preparation. If, however, they are pleased with their appearance they may take your insistence as a sign of disapproval. 
In regards to pre-operative preparation, the surgeon's office should be equipped to provide you with sufficient information and instructions to adequately prepare her.

Mederma : I s an over the counter product you can try, silicone gel sheeting is another. I am not sure if the latter requires a prescription.

Scar gels??: Each doctor has their own preferences. I like Madera or Silicone sheets.

Endometriosis: It is not unusual for endometriosis to recur after surgical treatment. Your gynecologist is best qualified to evaluate,advise and treat you. Hormonal manipulation will probably be prescribed.

Depends: Scars continue to fade and get less noticeable during the first year after surgery. During that  year, you should minimize sun exposure to the scars and it's okay to use aloe/vitamin e cream after the first 4-6 weeks. After a year, if you're not happy with how they look, you can consult a plastic surgeon and consider scar revision.

Not if it does: You don't have to have scars removed if they don't bother emotionally of physically, i.e. Get in the way of functionality.
