Very unlikely: For some who are very atopic or allergic it's possible that their airways or mucous membranes might be irritated by the "flavoring"/fragrance.  It is also possible for people with sensitive lungs like those with asthma to possible get a flare related to steam - but again this is uncommon.  Most likely this won't cause any issues. Pneumonia: Pneumonia, not pneumonitis, is a diagnosis by cxr shown an infiltrate (whiteness) and is associated with cough, fever, etc., and is an infectious process. So water vapor unless there is bacteria along does not cause pneumonia.

Lead poisoning?: The lead in leaded crystal decanters can leach into wine, spirits &amp; vinegar stored in them for a long time. Vapor pens manufactured in the US don&#x27;t contain lead. Check with the vendor of the pen for country of origin &amp; length of time the liquid stayed in the pen. It&#x27;s highly unlikely, but ask your doctor for a blood lead level if you&#x27;re worried.

Drug test: This depends on what was in your hookah pen. If it had fruit flavorings only, it will likely not show up on a drug test. However, if it had thc, nicotine, or others in it, these could show up on your drug screen if testing for those. Plain water: Please don't put the vapor steam liquid in the water... It will keep the vaporizer operating longer if you put the liquid in the cup next to where the steam comes out, rather than in the water.
