Warmth: If there is no redness or rash, this may merely be due to some irritable superficial nerves in the skin or some minor irritation from clothing. I feel there is nothing serious going on, but consult your physician if symptoms persist or worsen.

Left thigh parathesi: When does it occur after sittings  extended periods? stretching/ on waking?  May be sicatica equivalent( sciatic nerve compression due to spine) , piriformis syndrome equivalent ( sciatica compression due to muscle) , nerve compression, rarely Lyme,  B12  usually lower0  or rarely mass or MS.  F/u /w doc on exercise , diet , motrin like products ,  or gabapentin, as well as diet

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. However what you described does not sound serious and you could wait and watch. If you are even slightly overweight try to reduce your weight through diet and exercise.

That's not much info: You need a proper history including, not just what hurts, but for how long, what makes it better or worse, what i(f anything) brought it on, whether it's direct or referred pain etc.  Physical exam is vitally important too.  The sensation of warm water running down your thigh is a paresthesia, a sense of something that isn't really happening.  It may be a hint of what is.  Please see a doctor!

Pinched nerve: Sounds like a pinched nerve. Keep am eye on it. If it doesn't resolve in 2 weeks see your doctor.

Infection?: It should be evaluated.  It is possible that it is cellulitis (an infection of the skin), particularly since it gets warm to the touch.  If the area is red, it is even more likely to be an infection and need medication.  If there had been a recent injury to the area, it could be a deep muscle bruise, hematoma, etc.  Have your doctor take a look at it.

Many possibilities: Pain in a large region like the front of a thigh, can be many things. First, one needs to ascertain what " kind" of pain it is: nerve pain, muscular, vascular, etc...
The majority are muscular, in the large quadriceps musculature.  If it is only on one side you may have either a bio mechanical  problem or perhaps an overuse syndrome.
Try simple antiinflammatories before you work out.

Referral feeling: this is kind of referral feeling from the nerves that are responsible for feeling hot or cold, dry or wet, like sympathetic and anti sympathetic system. nothing to worry about.

i am getting this warm sensation in on my entire thigh. mainly the left, but some on the right leg too. its warm to the touch but without pain, and is kind of red in color. i have ddd and have a 2 inch synovial cyst. could this be an issue with that?

: While sensory symptoms in one or both legs may be caused by a spinal cyst, I wouldn't expect associated skin redness. Cellulitis, a bacterial skin infection requiring systemic antibiotic treatment, causes spreading redness with burning sensation. Because of this I recommend being examined by a physician ASAP to check for presence of cellulitis,and if present,get started on treatment.

hi - i have been having pain in my upper left leg around the veins.this morning found 2 longish lumps in my upper thigh that are warm  lightly red?

GET THIS CHECKED: ASAP....you could have a superficial thrombophlebitis....(Inflammation veins)  This needs attention!
