can a brain tumor cause pain and aches in limbs. have headache over right eyebrow and wake up with weird feeling / headache right side back of head neck?  could it be brain tumor or something else? back and neck pain. thank you in advance...

Sinusitis: Focal facial pain over eyebrow could be a sinus infection/inflammation. As the body responds, lymph nodes at neck can become inflammed and cause head and neck pain as well as an overall feeling of fatigue and low fever. Try a nasal saline wash followed by an oral decongestant/spray decongestant. Use Acetaminophen for pain.

my 45 yr husband is waking up at least once a week in middle of night w/headaches that are dull-ache towards back of head.  cause for alarm?

Cephalgia: What you describe are most likely tension headaches that are due to muscle contraction, but if the headaches worsen in either intensity or frequency then i would recommend you seek medical attention very quickly.

Occipital neuralgia: Have you had a recent head or neck injury or fallen asleep with your head over the back of a chair?  Sounds like you have a pinched greater occipital nerve.  See your doctor for evaluation and referral to a headache specialist.

May be migraine: This kind of headache may be due to pressure on the posterior or crvical branches. Botox injection have been used with some success. Surgical release may be needed.

Headache s/p reading: Have you checked you TSH, free T4 thyroid may be from that., especially since you are on thyroixine may be too high. Could be eye strain when you checked your retina did they check vision astigmatism , strabismus and eye coordination? Also could,cervical spine strain ,try motrin( if no allergy)    dry eyes usually would make you rub your eyes.  rarely could be mass or vascular in brain  f/u w/doc

: Quit drinking alcohol. Alcohol is a poison that never did anybody any good, ever, so stay away from it. It will destroy your brain cells, facilitate development of cancer in many organs, including breast, cause hepatitis, cirrhosis and pancreatitis etc. There is no safe level of alcohol intake. Quit while you are ahead.
