Revisit diagnosis: The first thing to do would be to make sure that you're not starting to feel this way because you have an underlying anxiety disorder that has not been addressed or bipolar disorder that has not been addressed. Next would be to have a discussion with your psychiatrist about whether it's even possible to stay on vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine). There are many medications that can be used for adhd. can i take vyvanse in the morning 30mg and then 30mg of celexa with 30 to 60mg of trazodone before bed. i usually get quite nervous 2 hours after taking vyvanse and this lasts about 2 hours. then i am fine. i take the other two medics at before bed?

Wean off: Wean off vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) by 10 mg every third day until the dose goes down the lowest (20mg?).  This will prevent the withdrawal.

Diet and exercise: The problem with ALL amphetamine compounds is that there will be some metabolic changes upon stopping the medication...in particular some weight gain may happen.  My suggestion to you is make sure your eating a healthy low fat low carb diet and begin working out and going to the gym if your not already.

Great question!: Vyvanse, (lisdexamfetamine) like all stimulants, should work the first day you take an adequate dose.  It differs from other stimulants in last longer; perhaps in your case, there is a bit of build-up, so you "right dose" doesn't happen until a day or so after you start.  If you've used other stimulants and had a similar response, though, that would not be the explanation.

Depends???: It depends upon your individual metabolism of stimulant drugs, specifically lisdexamphetamine).  If you're concerned about having a drug screen positive for amphetamines, why don't you discuss it with your employer and show them the prescription you have for the agent in question.

Why are you worried?: Sounds like you were taking a medication that was not prescribed to you. Better be careful there this is illegal and can cause you a lot of harm. Stop this behavior
