Folliculitis: Small abscesses are very common in the pubic area. If you shave your pubic area, you will be more likely to get these abscesses. You can apply warm compresses and over-the-counter antibiotic ointment.

monday i had a little lump on my labia majora that has grown covering the labia . more like a cyst with abscess . its so hard and painful when squized. im in quarantine as i have tested positive for covid. ?

Labial cyst : A cyst in this area can initially be treated with warm sitz baths, where you sit in a warm tub bath water for approximately 10-15 minutes 2-3 times daily. Sometimes this will allow the cyst to drain on its own. If the symptoms worsen you should see your women's health provider. I would recommend not squeezing the cyst as it can spread deeper in to the area.

Bartholin gland: This appears to be a recurrent Batholin gland abscess which means that the infection is still present in the gland after lancing which smolders and later flares up. Antibiotics are typically given post lancing and a recommendation to have a minor surgical procedure to open the gland permanently (Marsupialization)  would be in order to prevent recurrences.

Different things: Herpes is a virus doesn't cause abscess. You poss have a bacterial infection poss  incision and drainage and antibiotics. See ob-gyn, meantime warm compresses.

: These are likely pustules formed in the hair roots after the area is contaminated with staph germs. These often hide in the moist membranes of the nose and end up on your fingers. Transfer to any site you touch is possible. A thin layer of antibiotic ointment applied inside the nasal outlet along with weekly baths with a cup or 2 of bleach can reduce frequency. Your doc may propose other treatment

i recently shaved my pubic hair & my mons pubis/vulva is much darker than my stomach/rest of body. i believe this was caused by scratching, past cysts/abscesses scars, poor shaving, etc. was not dark in past. how can i revert the skin and heal scars?

: The genital area in humans is darker normally. Your other problems might have contributed too. Scars can shrink with time. There is no medicine to change the color. I suggest that you see a dermatologist for opinion and let some well trimmedhair grow there if you like to cover the 'darker' skin

That's the best way.: Abscess needs to be drained. It may not be a full fledged surgery and may be with small incision, the abscess will be successfully drained out. Then with antibiotics you will be OK...

Depends on drainage: The healing process is much more rapid if the labial abscess is large and has been incised and drained in addition to the use of antibiotics. If not, antibiotics work much more slowly in the closed space of a Bartholin gland abscess(labial).
