Tan/brown spots: Neurofibromatosis type 1 (von recklinghausen's) is diagnosed if the patient has two or more neurofibromas, six or more "cafe au lait" spots (>1.5 cm  in adults), many freckles in the armpits, affected relative . Other diagnostic criteria require doctor: optic gliomas (tumors behind the eye), 2 or more lisch nodules (found in iris of eye), and certain bone lesions. 2 or more of above needed.

Neurofibromatosis: The quick answer is no but hopefully in the future the genetics people will be able to manipulate the gene that causes this disorder and stop the progression. At the moment we do not have that ability.

Accutane? No: If you mean Accutane for acne, the answer is no; has been associated with flares of ibd (mostly ulcerative colitis).

Just what it: says.  Peyronie's disease is penile erection and engorgement that will not go away.  It can lead to necrosis of penis.  If you have it, you should probably not take this med.

Vasodilators: Treatment for raynaud's is twofold: 1.Protect hand an feet with warm clothing when exposed to cold weather.  2. Use vasodilators.  However, the medication will dilate blood vessels all over the body so its effect on the hand and feet is limited.  Other thoughts are to find out if there is an underlying disease causing the symptoms and treat that.  As a last resort some have moved to warmer places.

Immunosuppressives: Big word but the goal of therapy in crohn's disease is to decrease the inflammation in the lining of the bowel.  The two familes of medications used are anti-inflammatory medications - thick Motrin for the gut and immunosuppressive medications.  

Asa compounds such as pentasa, (mesalamine) steroids and medications such as 6-mercaptopurine and remicaide are all used based on how severe your symptoms are.
