Save Money: You most certainly don't need to supplement with vitamins (unless it's vitamin d, and even then it's a hard maybe). Study after study has found no benefit. Fish oils seems to be pretty great, but only in high doses of &gt;3gm/day of the dha/epa. Google "mediterranean diet" and have a look at this:

Not really: Many things can make u itch.  Vit d is at the very bottom of the list.  1000iu is a bs dose.

Absolutely: Citrus fruit and vitamin c have no effect on arthritis.  That is a myth.  In fact vitamin c is essential to good tissue health.

Needs evaluation: Unfortunately a diet of cow based milk alone can cause several problems. When consumed in excess of 24 oz/d it can cause intestinal blood loss leading to anemia. This case needs an evaluation &amp; tests. Treatment/supplements should focus on what is found.

Let me clarify: Best generic which gets close to MetanX, is methylated folate, B-6, B-12 (available online).  Alpha lipoic acid might help.  Acetyl-L-Carnitine is less than worthless.  Many "supplements" are mislabeled, have impurities, and may not even contain promoted item.
Buyer beware.  "Natural" is most often a pathway to expense, leading to disappointment and frustration.

None unless you have: Unless you are having a vitamin deficiency, then adding extra vitamins makes your urine very valuable. Most vitamins are water soluble, taking extra only makes them end up in the toilet. Taking extra fat soluble vitamins when you don't need them could make you sick. Ask your family doctor if you are having any deficiency. Most people in the usa are low on vitamin d. Correcting that might help.

Likely not: It would be helpful if you give more information about it e.g. how long has it been present and how is your general health. There has to be a reason for a patient to become deficient in essential nutrients.
