Yes: I advise everyone take a quality multiivit                                                                                                                                &amp; extra vit D in fall/winter months (year-round if you don't get much sun). Most adults need about 5000 iu of D3/day. I advise those with depression take fish oil &amp; the L-5-MTHF form of folate (folic acid).These will increase benefits of meds.

Usually: For most conditions it is okay to be on supplements. However, ther eare some conditions where they may interfere with the treatment so it is always best to consult with a practitioner who is knowledgeable about supplements.

Diabetes: Please check w/your doctor first.  Chromium helps balance blood sugar.  Cinnamon is also good and you can get it in capsule form or sprinkle it on.   Doctor can guide you because if you use these things it can throw of the dosage of meds you may be taking.  Peace and good health.
