Needs more research: Some say high doses of Vit C can acidify urine and thus help treat UTI's, but research on this has only used doses up to 4 grams a day and found that dose didn't acidify urine enough to kill bacteria. However, taking higher doses (like 1-2000 mg per hour) might be effective. The only significant side effect might be loose stools. You could get pH strips to monitor.

Bright yellow.: In general, taking in more vitamin c than you need will turn the urine bright orange/yellow in color.  That just shows that the money you spent on vit c is being peed out!    not dangerous, just a waste of money.

Probably not: Have you been eating a lot of high vit C foods (citrus etc)? If so , this may explain it.  ON the other hand, vit C assay is not part of the routine urinalysis so I do not understand why the test was done in the first place.

Specifically, many water-soluble vitamins--like the b complexes among others--have potential to alter urine color depending on the dose taken. : The color of the urine does not mean the multivitamin is too strong, it is just that like medications and foods the body absorbs what it wants and excrete the rest and some of the vitamins are excreted in the urine to make it the color that you have. It does not mean you should change the vitamin you are taking unless there are other issues apart from the color of the urine.

Diet: Diet with foods with Iron is a great way to absorb Iron.  Good sources of Iron include shellfish, spinach, legumes, red meat, pumpkin seeds, quinoa, turkey, broccoli, Tofu, dark chocolate, fish. Eat up and stay strong.
