Canker sores: there is not medication that will cure canker sores.  Many times they are related to stress or trauma.  Some people are sensitive to SLS, an ingredient in many toothpastes, so look at the labels.  Sometimes vitamin B supplements can help reduce the frequency.  Try to reduce your stress levels.

used ferrimed iron and neurobion vitamin b complex tablets for more than 6 months now- stopped when i realised the sores on my gums may be a result of too much of these medication?

Too many: There're too many conditions that can cause these symptoms to be able to differentiate from just a list. You should be physically examined, have your health history and medication history evaluated, you may need x-rays, you may need lab tests. See BOTH your General Physician and your General Dentist to begin the diagnostic process.

Yes: Metformin can cause leg cramps; vitamin B may not eliminate them yet you should  not harm yourself if you try it in the recommended dosages

Should be fine: But also check with doctor prescribing your Zoloft (sertraline). He/she knows your medical history. Take care.

i failed a drug test for marijuana but don't smoke. i take about 800mg ibuprofen a day and am on a vitamin b complex daily, which is 50 mg of b2 a day?

False positive test: "In some cases, a drug test may report the presence of illicit drugs, although none were taken. While this is not common, no test is 100% accurate. Lab errors account for some of the mistakes, but most false-positives may be attributed to over-the-counter drugs and foods that can affect the test" - Ibuprofen and hemp food products have been associated with false positive drug tests.

i was told by my doctor to start taking vitamin b complex. i purchased some at the drug store and noticed the vitamin b12 in it has 15 mcg, is that to much vitamin b12? will it give me jitters and cause my heat to race?

: It is unlikely that you will ingest too much vitamin B12 because excess amounts leave the body through urine. If your urine is bright yellow, it is most likely that you are taking in more B vitamins than you really need.  Expensive urine, but not dangerous.

i can't find isolated vitamin b1 (thiamine) in local drug stores, only a full vitamin b complex. does any of b vitamins interact with zoloft?

Not likely: In normal doses b vitamins are a good idea.  Should not interact significantly with zoloft (sertraline).

Vitamins: The b vitamins are water soluble.  This means that if you take more than you need the body gets rid of them.  Vitamins a d e and k are fat soluble and can cause illness if taken in excess.

Yes vit D3 no B vits: Vitamin d is a fat soluble vitamin. It is theoretically possible to reach a toxic level which is greater than 100 . I have never seen this in my medical practice however. B vitamins are water soluble and any excess is excreted through the urine. Folic acid in its natural form--folinic acid is okay. Excess synthetic folate has been linked to cancer.
