Get checked: The one thing you need to rule out is a retinal detachment. When the retina peals off, it causes large floaters and a graying of the vision in one or more sections. It may just be a vitreous detachment (which happens to most people) or a common floaters, but you need to have it checked.

Visual/ spatial problems can be a form of a sensory processing issue. Get a good evaluation and see an occupational therapist trained in sensory processing conditions.

Poor control: Posterior (retinal) and anterior (lens cataract) problems occur with poor control of the blood sugar. The lower the A1c the lower the incidence of eye complications. Your doctor should perform a dilated eye exam yearly or refer you.
