See below: Chest pain is very rarely reported by those taking vistaril, (hydroxyzine) an antihistamine used for allergies, anxiety, insomnia. Definitely follow up with your doc concerning this symptom. Make sure u tell doc all the meds & supplements u are taking as the chest pain may come from a drug interaction. If chest pain is severe & lasting, call ambulance to go to er for evaluation.

Vistaril: Vistaril is fine if used for short durations. People who use it long term and suddenly stop usually get rebound of symptoms like headaches, insomnia. If you have rare episodes of anxiety then it will help. It does make you drowsy.

my medication dosages were upped 24 hours ago and i have had a migraine ever since. can these medications be causing it?
wellbutrin 100mg->150mg
abilify 5mg->15mg
vistaril 10mg->25mg

Side effects: Headache is a reported side effect of all of these medications. Suggest informing your prescribing doctor about your headache. You and your doctor can discuss a plan to address the problem .

More zonked: Be careful. Xanax (alprazolam) is a sedative. Vistaril/hydroxyzine is an antihistamine that can make you sleepy. So having both medicines on board can make you very drowsy.

Different approach : Medication is not the answer!  Get off as many as feasible ASAP.  FIND a sleep specialist and commence a full sleep hygiene program. Consider a biofeedback approach.  If not done before, do sleep study with oximetry
