Accepted Answer

Bruise: Sounds like your temple muscle is bruised and swollen. Maybe a small hematoma (collection of blood). It is possible to have a concussion without loss of consciousness  but there would be other symptoms. If it gets worse or not improved in a few days then see your doctor.

white pus in corner of right eye from under top eye lid when i woke up. do have blepharitis/chalazion under eye lid. vision ok, eye not red, a little swollen. using warm packs. anything drops i can use?

Accepted Answer

: OTC eye drops won't relieve the exudate if you have blepharitis or early conjunctivitis. You can continue with the warm compress. Chalazion is less likely causing the exudate.

my right eye feels swollen and bigger but it's not. it also feels like something is wrong with the eye and vision. its been like this 6 months. my doctor/eye doctor/optician cant find anything. what do i do? im going crazy because nothing helps?

: Strategies to overcome Anxiety include all those things that relax you and feed you as a person. Outdoor activity (even just walking), taking time to be with friends and family, prayer/meditation, breathing exercises, journaling your feelings, Eating healthy, whole foods and drinking enough water daily. If your anxiety is interfering with your daily activities, seek help from a Dr or therapist.

See your doctor: If you have a strange swelling near eye, I would see your doctor or eye doctor.  Cooling clothes can be helpful in the mean time.

See doctor: If you have a swollen right nose and right eye, you need to see a doctor.  OTC sinus med is unlikely to help if you have a serious sinus infection on the right.

Abscess: Infected tooth can cause your symptoms.  It's an indication that the infection is rapidly spreading.  You need professional help immediately.  See Dentist ASAP.

Hot compresses: the most common cause of upper lid swelling is a sty also known as a chalazion or external hordeolum. This is caused by a blocked merbromin gland and usually responds to hot compresses four times daily.  More serious cases may require topical or oral antibiotics.
