Not yet.: Hepatitis b can sometimes be cured with combination antiviral treatment given over 6 to 12 months.  Hiv/aids can be controlled for decades with combination antiviral treatment but cannot yet be cured.

i have either viral or bacterial conjunctivitis and i just masturbated. is there any risk of an std in this case? what should i do?

Unlikely: Conjunctivitis while contagious is not transmitted sexually, it is transmitted by being exposed to the secretions from the eye or touching items the infected person has touched without washing their hands.

Likely viral, but: would recommend getting checked by your doctor, so that your whole body can be examined for enlarged lymph nodes and other possible causes. You may need lab work also.

i tested positive for hsv2 igg, none for igm. i never had any symptoms, i just do a yearly std check, and noticed i was never tested for herpes specifically. i did it this year, and positive for it. my doc said i dont need anti virals. agree?

: Yes I agree. The antibody that is positive in your case shows a past exposure to the virus and not an acute infection. You should be on the look out for outbreaks however. This is because the virus is present but not active at this time.

Not STD: STDs are not usually associated with itching.  Whatever it was, it was not from the oral sex.

Gon Chl Syphilis HIV: The main ones and probably the only tests needed are gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, and HIV. In males, G&amp;C are tested on urine, HIV and syphilis by blood. Possibly an HSV blood test, but not normally recommended unless symptoms suggest genital herpes. In India, you probably were vaccinated in childhood for hepatitis B; if not, have a test (and get vaccinated). Don't waste money on any others.

Only a few...: Have a urine test for gonorrhea and chlamydia and blood tests for HIV and syphilis. You could consider a blood test for herpes, but if so, have only an IgG test for HSV2, not an IgM test, which often is misleading. Nothing else is necessary. Yes,but: In some states you must agree i writing for HIV testing. Routine testing may exclude or include the test.I would just ask the staff.
