: We need more details to address your concern. When I have a patient resistant to multiple blood pressure medications or not controlled on several medications, I look for secondary hypertension. This comes from training as an internist. I have worked with hypertension specialists who do the same.

Yes: That should not be a problem, it is always better to dilute apple cider in a cup of water to protect your tooth enamel.

Dehydration: The main function of diuretics is to increase the output of urine, thereby helping to manage high blood pressure.  As a side effect of their chronic use, excess amounts of electrolytes can be lost in the urine leading to low levels of potassium, sodium, potassium.  Calcium and magnesium levels can also be impaired.  Some diuretics may cause the blood sugar to be elevated in diabetics.

No: It can be very irritating to skin with application and the odor causes much nasal and respiratory symptoms.

No: Metoprolol is a beta-blocker medication (these medicines end in -olol). They block the effects of adrenaline. They are not diuretics however sometimes thay are combined in the same pill with a diuretic (for example tenoretic which is the combination of atenolol and chlorthalidone).
