39y/o, had 2 polpys removed (sigmond & descending, villous adenoma w/high grade dysplasia). will i get colon cancer even though 2 polyps were removed?

Not sure if: Family history or leeding led to your colonoscopy, but it showed its value.  You are not predestined to get invasive cancer, but the findings warrant follow up to snip dangerous polyps before they invade, and gain access to nodes and blood steam. Your colonoscopist can tell you schedule for surveillance.

No: They are not the same......Adenomas are benign tumors in the colon and carcinoid tumors are not benign.....They could be low grade cancers but usually are not benign; they are cancerous, sometimes aggressive too.

Watch bowel habits: A tubular adenoma is benign and not likely hereditary.
Make sure there were no "adenomatous" polyps which are pre-malignant and can be associated with hereditary syndromes.
How did they find this in him- was he bleeding?
40 is young for routine colonoscopy, enless there wee symptoms, findings por family history.
Please provide more detailed history.

It the dysplasia: Think of your disease as representing a field defect. Other areas of the colon may have the same defect and allow for growth of other areas of polyps or high grade dysplasia (a precursor to developing cancer). Follow through to keep yourself safe. Always better safe then...

No: Villous adenomas are benign. They are considered pre-malignant, but not cancer. In-situ is the earliest stage of cancer, Stage 0. The two are definitely different.

Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Controversial: Daily aspirin may prevent or reduce the incidence of polyps, but the drug is not without risks. Get colonoscopy in less than 5 years to ensure that any new polyps are removed before those get a chance to become malignant.

i am highly susceptible to colon polyps & at 30 had a hgd adenoma removed, is a high or low fibre diet best for me to reduce frequency of the polyps?

More complex...: Than that. In general, high fiber diet (not simply bran or fiber supplements) may be helpful ( conflicting data). Adequate calcium, especially from dairy (low fat/no fat) may be helpful. Low sat fat (low meat, especially processed/sausage type) may be helpful. Aspirin or nsaids may be helpful.  Need to discuss your particulars, including fam hx, polyp hx, w/ md. Follow surveillance scopes.
