NOT REALLY: Viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) is an antidepressant. People out to get you sounds a bit like paranoia. Now if it is once in a while and part of depression or anxiety, then maybe the viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) will help.

can the 40 mg of viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) tablets be split and be effective...they are not scored.

Splitting tabs: As long as your doctor has indicated that she or he believes you should be taking 20 mg of viibryd, (vilazodone hydrochloride) rather than 40mg, then, yes. The pills can be split. You may want to ask your pharmacist about a pill splitter, a plastic device that helps you split pills (especially those that aren't scored, evenly. Don't forget to review with your prescribing doc &amp; be well:)

i took viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) 10 mg for 1 week. then took 20 mg for one day and i felt like i was sitting beside myself.  i did not take anymore. can i restart?

Probably: Go see your treating physician to discuss restarting your medication.  He or she may decide another medication is better for you, or simply go more slowly when increasing your dose.
Don't make these important decisions by yourself.

having moderate drowsiness from viibryd 20 mg. i started taking viibryd about a month ago. tried switching to taking it at night and it did not help. will the drowsiness subside?

May be: This is a common side effect , it may subside with continued use, if really bothersome ask your prescriber if you would go back to 10 mg / day , then advance as tolerated or till having desired therapeutic effect. Taking it at night won't help, as it has a long half life, so it stays in your system for at least 24 hours, wish you wellness

just started viibryd a week ago and i didnt realize it needed to be taken with food to be effective. here lately ive been waking up anxious, feeling twitchy and nauseous so its very hard to eat. is a spoonful of pb enough for the viibryd to work?

It could be.: My understanding is that it is very good for anxiety disorders, including OCD. However, I have not had much luck with it so far; it can have annoying initial side effects (mainly nausea) that can be tough to get past. So far, no one I have started on it has stayed with it, either because of side effects or lack of effectiveness.

Either: In my experience with viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) i tend to hear about it not being particularly activating or sedating.  Changes in energy levels in either direction do not appear to be particularly pronounced.  However, individual patients may find it activating and some patients may also find it to be sedating.  It is not known for any particular dramatic change in energy.  Stay safe!
