Dr. exam, then note: A doctor can write a note after doing an in-person exam. Generally, doctors do not write notes such as work-excuse or school-excuse notes, or back-to-work or back-to-school notes, without an exam. That is because a doctor's note is his written, signed, professional opinion, on whether a patient can or cannot do a particular activity. An in-person exam gives confidence to the doctor's opinion.

HOLD ON: do not use the Elicon yet..it contains a steroid which might not be useful if what you are decribing is an INFECTION ..Try some moist warm packs to the area and if the redness spreads you need to have a real (not virtual) exam and treatment by your PCP or GYN!

BTW a local antibiotic cream/ointment might be useful in between soaks (Soak every TWO HRS)

ED: Sorry for your dilemma.  You need to be examined by your doc for hormonal issues and vascular flow.  In a young male ED is usually psychologically based.  You can see a clinical psychologist after the MD/DO if needed.  Clinical hypnosis may helpful (www.asch.net).  Let this draw you and your new bride closer.  Peace and good health.

Preferably yes: Your doctor is your partner in health. He or she can oversee your health, and make recommendations as they pertain to vitamins and exercise (and more!) use this resource to achieve optimal health.

Not for sure: I would recommend you call the state medical association and they could give you the information for that state. I would recommend going to the Association of American Physician and Surgeons.  They would likely have information to help you with your need.  They have a site called Medi-Bid and it links patients and prroviders together for tests, xrays etc.  I hope this helps.
