The problem here: Is you need to know if the toenail became fungal or if that nail is thick for other reasons..I.e bacterial colonization or subungual keratinazation. A thick yellow stubby nail is not always fungal. 
Topical meds for fungus are not highly effective either. If your inclined to try one you can but you will be applying for many months duration &amp; 1 is not necessarily better than others.

how can i get rid of ingrown toe nails? i have major problems with ingrown toenails, i clip them out only to have them back in a short period of time.

It : It is important to cut your nails straight across and not trim them down into the corners of your toes. Also, wear shows that are wide at the front, so that they don't put any pressure on the toes from the side...High heels that come to a point put a lot of pressure on the toes, causing the nails to get ingrown.

If they do persist, you should see your physician, who can numb up your toe and remove the part of the nail that keeps getting ingrown.  If it still continues, your doctor can use an acid to kill the cells that produce the nail that keeps getting ingrown so that it doesn't grow back.  You would then be left with a skinnier nail, less likely to get ingrown.

Local infection?: I wouldn't think endocarditis based on that. But it could be a local infection. When we cut nails too short; or pull off too much, we can tug some skin out with the nail, leaving a cut that can allow for the introduction of bacteria.

Depends: Healing depends on the type of fracture and any surrounding soft tissue injury, what treatment was given, did it require surgery, how well the bone heals etc. Without information to the contrary, i  don't know why is would not heal entirely.  It may take a while, several months, to feel up to full activity.

how do you treat severe nerve pain on the bottom of your foot. its a tiny spot but it hurts on the scale of having a natural birth no meds. can walk or lift foot when its hurting. advil and aleve helps but only for a short time. the burnin feeling?
