Light period: The amount of bleeding a woman has with her period is a result of the growth the preceding month. the pill usually makes periods lighter. If she is not on the pill, it may just be a fluke this month. Implantation bleeding can also happen around the time of her period, so if pregnancy is a concern, check a pregnancy test.

Maybe but bit early: Spotting can be secondary to implantation meaning a pregnancy can be trying to "stick" to the uterus but this usually occurs one week before the  period should come. It can indicate abnormalities in female hormones or thyroid or prolactin (hormone to produce breast milk) or abnormalities in the uterus like polyps or fibroids or even cervical inflammation or irritation. Do a pregnancy test if late.

Not normal: But it does not mean you will necessarily miscarry.  Keep an eye on it, and when you're 6 or 7 weeks along an ultrasound will be very reassuring.

But first make sure your pregnancy test is truly positive.  

If you start having severe pain go to emergency department right away.

It depends: To answer correctly, day 1 of your cycle is the first day you bleed.  If you are trying to get pregnant, then mid cycle would be the most fertile period.  If the urine test was for pregnancy it was a waste.  Wait 2 weeks after a missed period and then check a pregnancy test.

I : I don't know if you are pregnant. There can be some spotting and mild cramping when the embryo emplants in the wall of the uterus. At about the time the period is missed a woman may start to excperience symptoms like nausea, feeling tired, more frequent urination, swollen or tender breasts, abdominal enlargement etc. If you have missed your period, recommend you take a pregnancy test.
