HMMMM...: Tough to say without an exam,..it could be a minor   muscle pain in that area or inflammation of the temporal artery that needs to be evaluated more thoroughly by a doctor.  If this persists, then see the Dr.  Best wishes.

i am not very concerned, but my veins in my left forehead and face/temples have become more visible.
i am not sure if they have been there the whole time, but i noticed them recently.
is it anything to worry about (m,14)?

: Probably nothing is wrong. Puberty and sexual maturity can make veins more prominent, especially in males.

: Veins on the side of the temple are common and tend to become more prominent when the body is hot.  They will also become more prominent when straining, yelling or other maneuvers that increase intra-abdominal pressure.  They would not be associated with pain on the side of the head.

sensitive spot on my head, should i have this checked i have an 1-1/4 long linear swollen sensitive spot above my left ear and temple, it almost feels like a vein, it's also sensitive to the touch but not extremely painful.

Unfortunately, : Unfortunately, i think you should have this spot checked out sooner rather than later.  From your description, you could have the beginnings of temporal arteritis.  Temporal arteritis is the inflammation of medium sized arteries of the head and neck - classically seen in the artery over the temple.  This disease can cause damage to the blood vessels that supply the head and neck and can affect blood flow in these areas.  40% of people will also have respiratory complaints such as a dry cough with this.  Below i've linked to a site with information on this temporal arteritis.  Give your doctor a call.

how long does a brain aneurysm take to develop? i had a head mri 9 years ago and it was normal. i have a vein on my left temple that is close to the surface that often throbs.

Basics: Aneurisms are thought to originate from weak areas in blood vessels that are present for an undetermined period of time. Some become symptomatic in kids &amp; some in adulthood. If you did not have a blood vessel study done specifically I don't know that a simple mri would identify such an area. Veins do not throb. What you are feeling is a normal artery in that position.

See a doctor: the mechanism of ur husband's injury can cause multitude of different complications- from vascular (dissection of arteries) to neurological (spine nerve strain) etc. if smx persist- best to see a doctor quickly to rule out.

TMJ?: Temporo-mandibular joint syndrome, which would give you pain in this area, worse in the morning after you wake up. Could also be just a headache.

See your PCP: for examination and tests to rule out temporal arteritis. Initially the headache may be the only presenting symptom with the temporal and occipital regions being the most common locations. Tender spots or nodules may be present in the scalp, especially over inflamed arteries. See your PCP for evaluation and diagnosis.

Exam: I think headaches of 2 months duration should be examined and tested including a CT scan o f your head. Do not ignore these symptoms.
