Sounds normal: This doesn't sound abnormal. Probably just a slightly prominent curvature in the vein. Don't worry about it.

Thrombophlebitis: Painful veins can be the result of thrombophlebitis.  This is an inflammation of your veins most likely the result of a clot.  Sometimes it will progress and become infected.  Using oral anti-inflammatories and warm heat packs will help alleviate the symptoms.  If they persist see your physician for an evaluation.

Usually: Seen more on the backs of your hands.  Palm skin is typically very thick.

Thrombosis: It's not uncommon for a vein to thrombus (clot) if it's been cannulated. It will feel firm, perhaps a bit sore, and could appear puffy. If there's associated redness, inform your doctor. With time, the vein should recanulate (open up) but not absolutely. Of nominal concern. Good luck.

Swollen hand veins.: Hand veins can swell for many reasons but the most common is certainly hereditary .  Other factors would be level of hydration, aging, sun exposure and loss of elasticity.  I doubt at age 33 that aging is a factor for you. Actually, I am amazed at the amount of women that i see with bulging hand veins.  It is not uncommon for the veins on each hand to be different in size.

I doubt at age 32 that aging is a factor for you. Actually, I am amazed at the amount of women that i see with bulging hand veins.  They can be easily treated with laser or sclerotherapy and usually a combination of both.

Gas: It may be gas in your stomach. Try a n antacid and it may disappear
