Plumbing Fixes: Diet changes: get plenty fiber by eating fruits&veggies, whole grains, oatmeal, psyllium or flaxseed, metamucil. Drink 8-10 glasses of fluid daily. Take over the counter docusate, miralax, (polyethylene glycol) or bisacodyl. Good luck with your plumbing. Hope it helps.

Veg oil: Vegetable oil will be at least partially absorbed. It may be totally absorbed. It will lubricate some stool. Better to use prunes, prune juice, Miralax, (polyethylene glycol) or Magnesia.

Laxatives and meds: Laxatives and anti-fungals should not interact with each other, however taking laxatives with any medication can prevent some of the medications from being absorbed.  Speaking with your physician about the combo should let you know if it is okay.  To help, take the anti-fungal medication at least an hour before the laxatives.

No: Don't stop the laxative.  While you are taking the medication you will need the laxative.  You could get in trouble if the constipation gets severe.

Left sided pain?: Causes of abdominal discomfort as described may be identified by first addressing signs/symptoms so as to localize the organ involved. In females: vaginal discharge or bleeding, alteration in periods, pregnancy risk? Also, fever, nausea, vomiting, altered stool pattern, blood with stool, tenderness, distension?  Severe  pain warrants urgent evaluation, not masking symptoms.

: You don't mention what medication you're taking. Has that degree of nausea been evaluated and explained by a gastroenterologist? Dehydration: Polyethylene glycol 3350 is an osmotic diuretic, previously used to prepare bowel for colonoscopy. Low blood pressure can be due to dehydration which can, in turn, result from osmotic diuresis. Best to rehydrate w/plenty of fluids, enough to make urine clear. If no better, tell prescribing doc your concerns.
