Possibly : Any habit that uses the lungs as a pathway fro drugs to enter the circulation (vaping,smoking) traumatizes the lung tissue on a microscopic level.We would expect increased invasion by opportunist infections of any type in these persons.

Its unknown: the safe use of Vape pens is not known as there ae no standards as to the fluid used in them, the nicotine content or anything else that may be in them.  Some use a fluid similar yo antifreeze.  I would err on the safe side and not use them.

i wanted to ask if its possible to fully recover for vaping after vaping for 4years. just now my life started to brighten up and im considering to open a new chapter in my life. so im just curious can i fully recover and live to see my 80ths?

: That depends on what you mean by recover and what you were vaping. We know the decision centers in the brain's frontal lobe are permanently altered by nicotine, leading to great potential for addiction. The other body systems have a great potential for full recovery. You are far more likely to make 80 if you don't vape/smoke than if you do.

Great question: Vaping may intuitively be considered the lesser of the two evils. However, neither activity is good for your lungs. Smoking cigarettes has a multitude of carcinogens. Vaping needs further study and may also increase cancer risk.  There are treatment options available for people who want to quit smoking. They should see their doctor for specific recommendations.
