Great question: Vaping may intuitively be considered the lesser of the two evils. However, neither activity is good for your lungs. Smoking cigarettes has a multitude of carcinogens. Vaping needs further study and may also increase cancer risk. There are treatment options available for people who want to quit smoking. They should see their doctor for specific recommendations. Best wishes!
